SOLI Enseña Certification Program
Designed to empower both present and next generation piano educators, the Enseña Certification Program helps teachers adapt the innovative methods explored in SOLI workshops for use in their own studios. Whether you’re a college student preparing to teach or an experienced educator looking to enhance your current curriculum, this year-long hybrid program will expand your toolkit.
Led by Dr. Carolyn True, the certification covers:
- Identifying specific pedagogical principles in method books and standard repertoire
- MuseScore basics for arranging and adapting music
- Creating safe, engaging music-making spaces beyond the keyboard
- Introducing chamber music experiences through events like SOLI Saturdays, Monday Salons, and I SOLO’d with SOLI
Participants will complete five in-person sessions and five zoom classes, and emerge ready to design and host similar events in their own teaching spaces.
Join us to deepen your teaching, connect with like-minded educators, and bring chamber music into your studio in fresh, inspiring ways.
Structure: 9:30 am – 2:30 pm (9:30 – 11:00 am attend SOLI Saturday or ISWS workshop, bring lunch, 11:30 – 2:30 pm workshop)
