If you’ve been keeping up with this series you know that, since we had the pleasure of working with them, the artists featured in the 30x30x30 project have ventured far and wide! Below is a summary of what five of them have gotten up to…

Meg Okura is continually performing as a violinist in several ensembles, including Quartet Indigo at Inwood’s 2025 Jazz Festival (New York, NY), the Meg Okura Project at The Stone at The New School (NYC), the newly-premiered AdaMA Quartet at MSU (East Lansing, Michigan), and most recently at Absolute Blue in Tokyo, Japan with Yotam Ishay and Kan! She is an active author through her Substack UnKosher Notes and has several collaborations with Jazz Composers Present. A co-founder of the ensemble Alkemie, Seligmann premiered their new opera Eleanor with the group in April at the New Stage Performance Space on the Upper West Side (NYC), and the ensemble has an upcoming workshop on June 14th as a part of ChamberQUEER’s 2026 Festival (NYC). Sarah McMahill continues their work in Wellness Weaving, connecting their massage therapy practice with enneagram work and music to promote wholistic healing. In February they were interviewed by Steve Danielson of the American Choral Director’s Association about their practice (interview linked here) and they actively author posts on their substack Wellness Weaving/KSP with SJ. McMahill sings with and has composed for One Voice Mixed Chorus (St. Paul, MN), the group who premiered their work I Honor the Place in You back in 2024. The piece has since been edited and is available now on their website.

Seare Farhat is currently pursing a D.M.A. at Cornell University under the tutelage of Elizabeth Ogonek, Kevin Ernste, and Marianthi Papalexandri-Alexandri. Earlier this year he completed a residency at Millay Arts in Austerlitz, New York, and in December it was announced that Farhat was selected alongside Susanna Hancock to serve as composer-in-residence at the Louisville Orchestra’s Creators Corps!
