This season SOLI presented inspiring residencies at University of Houston and Illinois College. In one performance at the McNay, the group premiered two new arrangements of existing pieces: Richard Carrick’s La scene miniature quartet, and Paul Moravec’s Andy Warhol Sez, they also premiered Stephen Hartke’s Horse with a Lavender Eye, as well as a world premiere of Steve Mackey’s Prelude to the End accompanied by video installations by Mark deChiazza.
