After appearing as a guest artist (and page turner!) for three past SOLI concerts, violinist Ertan Torgul joins the group as a full time member in 1998. On May 8th, 1998 SOLI premiered a commission by Alexandra Gardner: Crows, a five movement piece inspired by the landscapes of the American Southwest.
