Dear friends,

SOLI has chosen a smorgasbord of international savories for our ninth (how time does fly!) concert season. Journey with us from Scenes from Jewish Life to Eastern Europe to the United States and on to England. Adding to our standard fare of exotic, modern morsels from faraway lands and tasty new tidbits from home, SOLI introduces ORIGINS: a selection of standard repertoire we’ve chosen to blend with our more modern fare.

In preparation for each new season, SOLI gets together for a round-table discussion to choose works and discuss our musical direction. As you know, in addition to SOLI’s solid “core of four,” we enjoy bringing you talented guest artists from near and far. This year is no exception: not only will you enjoy seeing a few favorite familiar faces, we’ll also introduce you to some old friends of ours (who just happen to be brilliant musicians).

And please visit our Contact and Subscription page. We hope that, in addition to purchasing season tickets, you will consider a tax-deductible additional contribution. SOLI, like any arts organization, works to do the most with the least, and every dollar you donate enriches what we are able to give back.

Now that we’ve whetted your appetite, join us for this exciting season of concerts you can enjoy nowhere else in South Texas. We’ll save you a seat!
