  Tempestuous Celebrations
SOLI celebrates the milestone birthdays of Elliott Carter (100!) and Joan Tower (70) in this adventurous program. The centerpiece will be Paul Moravec's Pulitzer Prize-winning Tempest Fantasy.

SOLI Gone Mad
The centerpiece of our season finale will be the San Antonio Premiere of Peter Maxwell Davies's Eight Songs for a Mad King. In this dramatic theatrical piece we will explore the downward spiral into the madness of King George III of England. SOLI will be joined by three extraordinary guests in bringing this unique concert to life.

SOLI are joined by incomparable baritone Timothy Jones, sponsored by the "Russell Hill Rogers Fund for the Arts;" brilliantly talented flutist Allison Garza from the Houston Symphony; and nationally renowned percussionist Thomas Burritt from UT Austin.
